How do I know if I am in Network/ Out of Network with a provider?

If the chiropractor is not part of your insurance network, you may be responsible for a higher out-of-pocket cost. You can check with your insurance provider to determine the terms of your coverage for out-of-network providers.

A deductible is the amount that you have to pay before your health insurance starts to pay anything. Once the deductible is met, then the next step of the insurance process is the Out of Pocket. **Deductibles are reset annually, usually starting in January.**
What is an Out of Pocket? An Out of Pocket is the amount you have to pay through copays, coinsurance, or deductibles before the health plan starts covering all covered expenses. Once you reach your out-of-pocket maximum, your health insurance will pay for 100% of most covered health benefits for the rest of that policy period.
What is Co-insurance?Co-insurance is a form of cost sharing. After your deductible has been met, your insurance plan will begin paying a percentage of your bills. The remaining amount, known as co-insurance, is the portion due by the patient.
